Thank you for sharing this beautifully written reminder to us of all the things God has given to us as reminders of His love for us. He's there in the present. All we need to do is accept His love.

Thank you Barbara for your well put review and stars.
Comment from Jennifer Keeley
This was a nice read. I enjoyed how you tied things together. Nature, life, and God. It was symbolic and making it a "walk-through" life was a unique and creative way to word it. Nice work!

You can say from the first day we are born we will have our ups and downs. We will experience failures and successes. It is all part of life. Thank you for sharing your poetry! Excellent work!

In all things, give thanks! So many daily wonders about life to see and give gratitude for. I live in a beautiful and magical place, and there is always much to appreciate. Your poem fully expresses this important way to walk our journey in this life. In adoration of your writing skills.

Comment from Tom Horonzy
Where have you been, my friend. Always nice to read from you. This piece is excellent. Six-star worthy as usual when you post, I believe. Only comment is about the second line verse three. "To the rise of the soul, at the time of death." It's not heard; and has not been seen, and though I believe we all will experience it some day in the future, ..??? What's it doing here?

Thank you, Tom, for the exceptional review. I don't understand your
question, "what's t doing here?" The six stars are very much appreciated.

I don't know aout the 't' or what I might have read for in reading this today I have nothing to correlate to what I meant. By chance, have your read my "The Lights of Life" in my portfolio. It runs familiar to the message of Shorthand. How about reading it and sharing your thoughts please.

-A good image and nice presentation, Willie.
-You wrote a very good poem with
effective imagery, meter, and rhyme.
-You have many good examples of what
occurs in physical nature and human nature.
-I also like the contrasts within the line:
"the flow of the river; the leaf on a tree"
"the run of the young; the walk of the old"
-Very good closing lines, too.

I very much enjoyed this poem, illustrating the wonders of Gods amazing world. I liked the form you used, each rhyming couplet combining and comparing two related things in a beautiful way. It shows your observant and creative propensities. Well done Willie P.

I enjoyed my walk with you through the journey in life, in shorthand. There are so many wonderful examples of God's hands at work. From the smallest flowers, to the largest, grandest trees, to the smallest ponds to the widest oceans. God's work is everywhere. I enjoyed walking with you, Willie. :)) Sandra xx
