Very nice, timely work here, Alcreator. I truly understand the limitations of the verse here, with so few syllables it can be difficult to get a message across, but I think your message is clear. I may recommend the use of a hyphen in between war and free in your third line (i.e., "war-free"), which will help ease the reader into the notion that we are looking for the absence of war, not allowing one to "make war" briefly before they spot the "free". Good job with a difficult topic. The photograph was a great paired touch as well. Thank you for sharing.

Well, in the Baptist church that I grew up in, someone say "Amen." World peace would be a good thing. God gave man freedom of choice. That choice can be used to stop war. Good work. Terry.

I think it would be impossible to review the poem after all the notes. If people were to pay attention to what has been given to us already, it surely could only come from a power greater than any we know. War is an impossible state of existence and I'm surprised every day we are in one. The Ukraine's position is intolerable in a civilized world. Russia has no real claim on anyone and should stop.
