The poem is lovely and beautiful. It is inspiring too.
I read it repeatedly. I will read it again in the future.
A friend of mine writes Haiku. Every time I read her pieces, I enjoy them.
Now I see you put together a collection of Haiku. That is so wonderful.

Ciao!
Your poems are usually short .. you did a great job in capturing the melancholy in this unusual format for you.
Most lovers have a song that they both cherish , they dance to and sing during their relationship.
If their love dies and the two take different paths hearing that particular song later tugs at their heart .. it's a reminder of what that had and now have lost.
I like sad poems. I enjoyed the read!

Another fine poem, Gypsy----and there's no doubt about it----songs can reach into your gizzards and rip them out, but in a good way also, not just crappy!

What a delightful free verse, Gypsy. I loved the picture which showed the loneliness that encompasses one. I really enjoyed that you broke it down to the three areas- the sky, the music and tonight. It was an intense breakdown with sadness surrounding it. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed be n hugs.

Beautifully crafted both in presentation and a very poignant free verse poem where hearing a song brings painful memories of a deceitful love.
Powerful and beautiful
Best wishes

Gypsy,
In this poem, you long for someone no longer near you. I love the poignancy of your work--the way you express loss.
Excellent work, Gypsy.
Blessings,
Cindy

Good free verse - Not familiar with your subject - seems to be a story about a lonely girl who's memories about a person from her past are being triggered by first the Starry sky and then some music playing in the background while she sits alone looking out her open window. Hopefully the guy below her window will sing her a new song? Hug.

Well done with this Gypsy, an amazing post, with passion dripping from each articulate syllable, and the words of romantic but tragic love woven into each line, well done, blessings Roy

Hello Gypsy,
what a delight to read this poem, though somewhat sad. Music has the power to transform us to another time, another scene. I can't recall a time when I heard a song that it transported me to an unpleasant event in my life, it usually brings back pleasant memories. I loved the picture you chose and the blue font on the black background is striking. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.
