I am not scientific, but I liked the juxtapositions throughout, and the thoughts about what is or is not reality, and I also liked the composition which suited what you were trying to achieve. Creative! Welldone.

I have never heard of Quarks before and I was never very good at science. You created some ambiguity here as these dark and light particles bring hot and cold images, love Dolly x

Quarks are particles of atoms. Ambiguity is the main theme here, so I am glad that came across. The ambiguity of reality. estory

This is a very ambitious write. Quantum physics is the closest science approximates to magic, so far as I can see. So I admire your attempt to define quarks in a poetic format. The somewhat flippant ending made me smile. Well done.

Thanks for the excellent review and I am glad you liked that ambiguous ending. That was a main part of the theme here. I don't know how ambitious it really is...as I stated in the notes, WC Williams and Denise Levertov were the real pioneers of this kind of format. estory

I think when scientists endeavour to explain the depth of creation's wonder, they become lost in the complexity of it, I don't try to understand it, merely except it in all its wonder, more than any man can understand. Beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

It's nice to see you back. I like the internal rhyming in the first line already in two words only and one of them is the name of a particle in physics. I like this short and simple poem about big issues in the unverse.

Thanks again for the sixer and all the continued support. I never really left, but taking care of my dad five days a week is putting a strain on my time. I have to work three days too, and take care of the house and yard, so I have limited time here. estory

Quarks resemble microscopic quirks, they glisten in the light.
Right in the middle of the highway, the car oscillates.
In addition to matter, there is also energy.
In nature, geometrical shapes are in many forms.
Substances have a high level of effervescence.
The sun's rays are an example of this phenomenon.
On top of that, it's completely dark. Absolutes as cold as ice are available.
Hot spots are thrown together at the last minute and do not have enough space to accommodate everyone.
Depending on someone's view, it is either that or not.
Thank you for posting. The subject is interesting.

Discussions of particle physics are rare in poetry, but welcome; anything that endeavors to help me understand that which cannot be envisioned is appreciated. Unfortunately, only wonder, and not comfort, may be distilled from rascals of understanding, as far as I can tell. Can such theories ever become the commonplace of mundane human understanding, as perhaps gravity or light speed is now? At any rate, this is an interesting poem, and I think it could be focused and refined into an exceptional expression of the plausible impossible.
