This is a powerful write filled with the blood shed of the Ukrainian people at the hands of a crazy and unstable man who lied repeatedly as he gathered troops before the invasion stating it was just a military exercise. Hi Dolly, I was angry the day I wrote that poem. I think we are all angry at the slaughter of innocents! He will be judged, I hope the Americans go get him like Bin Laden and Sadam Hussain (found down a rat hole.) No one is above God's law. He wants to be just like Hitler. Not if we gather against him. Oz is sending aid in the form of food and ammunition. I'll get off my soapbox now! Love, Kay xx

these people are just like us...they were living

Hello Wombat. Thanks for reading. I was angry the day I wrote this. He is aiming to be Hitler 2.Tonight I see war breaking out in Tel Aviv. Haven't the Jewish folk had enough? The imagery here is chilling. The analogy is stunning. A sea of blood is maliciously created which eventually drowns the creator, as the world watches. There are millions of souls who will not morn the loss.

I like the imagery you have used to tie Putin to Satan and his boat floating on a sea of blood. It's particularly relevant given that the Italian's may have his yacht, paid for wih the blood of innocents. Very good poem.
