That was an incredible story, Melissa, and one I'm so pleased to read. That little fighter proves that we are not always right, and that there is more going on than what the vet says. Wow - what a tear-jerking tale of a lovely puppy who came into the world with 'the cards' stacked against him but with such love and kindness that he was so lucky to encounter he made it to the grand old age of 14 and beyond - the tone is so compelling here - a delight

What a beautiful little dog and what a wonderful story.
It is so sad to see so many illnesses occur in just one little dog.
He deserved every opportunity you gave him because you truly chose one with extreme courage.
He was also blessed to have such a caring and loving owner.

Great story and nicely told. For some reason, I get more emotional about animals than I do about people. I think it's because animals are more loving to their masters.
