So sorry about your friend. When a person writes, we do compare characteristics within a story about people we know. But to have a friend pass and use her traits, is a great loss.

Yes, Carole was an exceptional lady, who was loved for her kindness, wisdom, her delight in people. She was a rare flower.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

It would be weird to think one could be reborn into the future and be handed a task that should've been, but for whatever reason, hadn't been fulfilled in the past, of course God takes care of these issues somehow, but most folk don't know that, and it interferes with a good story such as yours. Beautifully written Sandra, blessings Roy

Thank you so much, Roy. I'm so pleased you are still enjoying this story. I agree that God does sort out the problems we have, but many don't realise it. Such a shame. Warm hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

Wonderful story about how you created the character of Bessie. She seems to know exactly how to operate in this world of the past. Margot is motivated by her desire to know her connection with Meg and her attraction to Miles. She learns that Meg's father was being ripped off and didn't lose his money by gambling. Bessie and Margot are going to try to set things right, so Meg can live the life she was destined to. This is fascinating, and it's keeping me engaged. judi

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, Judi, it was Mother's Day here in the UK yesterday, and I had a lovely day with my sons. 😊
Thank you so much for this lovely review, you are always so supportive of my story. I did have a nail biting moment posting this chapter wondering how you'd all take the idea of other timelines, but it seems to be fine. :)) Thank you for that golden star, my friend, I really appreciate those and the review. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

-Thanks for sharing the notes about your friend, Sandra.
-This story and book is a great tribute to her. I don't know if she
had children, but it will be so special to them if she did.
-An excellent chapter that shows a little more of Bessie's character;
she is crafty, for one thing. She is obviously found of Margot and is very delicate in explaining what she needs to her.
-The opening is very good after Bessie has gone through the documents and now has proof that Lord Crawley did not gamble his money away.
-A great answer by Bessie when Margot wants to know how she is going to learn more about the situation, "'I's still thinking on it.'"
-The proposal of Margot getting closer to becoming Meg is intriguing, and I wonder what kinds of things will take place for her. She is braver than I would be! I think Miles will be happy for a time, too!!
-I like the ending that shows how connected Margot is to the situation and the truth!
-Well done, my friend. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Carole had two sons, and as kind and loving as their mum was. I love them both, they grew up with my sons and they're still best friends. ☺️

I was nervous putting this chapter on, but thought, 'what the heck, just go for it.' Now Bessie and Margot will be able to do what they have to. I was waiting to read your thoughts on it.
Thank you so much for this very encouraging review, Pam, you've given me the confidence boost I needed. And I'm not forgetting the shiny six, a big thank you for that! Love and hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. I appreciate your reply. Why were you nervous about the chapter?

I was worried people wouldn't accept the 'timelines' theory. So far, you all have! I'll be working on the next chapters now. xxxx

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad it is all sorted out now! Have a great day.

Meg does need help. She was robbed of a lifetime of happiness with Miles and her three children. Bessie seems to know how to set things right and Margot has agreed to help. Well done, Sandra. Nancy:)

Oh, Sandra, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I am glad that she knew she was so special and included in your story. She must have felt the love for sure.

Loving the storyline as usual though it is strange that Bessie knows what was supposed to happen but didn't in Meg's future. But I am sure it will all come to light in time. Well done as always.

Smiles, hugs and love, Carol

Aw, Sandra, I want to start with your notes. What a wonderful thing that you've based Bessie on your dear friend Carole. I know it must be hard right now to listen to Bessie's voice. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Now, back to the story. It's absolutely amazing what Margot and Bessie are intending to do. I'm intrigued and I can't wait to find out how they're going to pull it off.
A big hug here from entrapped Vall De Laguar. The last road washed away in places during the night's deluge. I'm so tired as I've hardly slept. We've had more than a metre's rain during the last ten days. It's surreal. I got plenty of food, but I'll need firewood on Tuesday. I hope they'll manage to get one of the small roads open. We can only hope nobody gets ill because nothing can get through, let alone an ambulance. We are in dire straits. A big hug. Ulla xxxx

Thank you, Ulla. I'll miss her loads. We've been friends for so long, it will seem strange to go and see her lovely hubby and Carole won't be there. Gordon will be lost now she's gone. It's so sad.

Thank you for this lovley review, and the golden star, I really appreciate them both, my friend.

I can't believe you are having all that rain! I know when it starts it can be horrendous and cause loads of damage. I hope you'll be safe and I'm glad you have enough food in to last you. Keep me informed, so I know you're safe and well. Warm hugs, and lots of love, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I love this story and can't wait to see how all this plays out.

Margot took the documents and sat down at the reading table. & Bessie sat down at the table with Margot. ('down' can be omitted in both sentences, it's an extra word)

Margot stood up and paced the room, trying to get her head around all this. ('up' is an extra word and can be omitted)

Miles wanted him to be his best man snd knew he could trust him to keep the secret. (AND????)

Hi Sandra,

Good stuff here. Branching timelines is a good mcGuffin to use so we don't get a lot of nasty paradox business.

Miles wanted him to be his best man snd knew he could - and knew.

Nice continuation

Hi Gareth, thanks for spotting that funny 'and' I've made the correction. I really liked that you thought my timelines worked as a good macguffin, I haven't heard that word used in donkey's years! Thank you for this, my friend, I'm so pleased you are enjoying my story. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

In some places, I feel like listening to two British women in dramatization. However, nothing wrong with it. You did well with the birthday bit mentioned below. No doubt you feel a closeness. Amazing how some of us allow our minds to drift toward the unknown. Good one, Sandy.

Thank you so much, Chuck. Well, they are two British women, so I'm so glad you could see that!! Lol. I do like the 'dramatization' part, that really is encouraging. Thank you, dear friend, for this and the golden star. I do appreciate you so much. Love and hugs, Sandy. xxx
