This is an interesting part of the story. Bessie's theory that Margot will become Meg if they don't keep Meg from being murdered is a new twist on the time travel theories. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend, although heaven is an improvement over being ill.

Thank you, Carol, for your kind words, and yes, Carole will now be free of all her pain, and running around with her brothers that went before her.

Thank you for your lovely review. The merge will happen while Meg is still alive, which means Margot will be able to see the solicitor in person and get the answers she wants. The hope is, that Margot and Bessie will stop Meg's murder and then Meg will continue with her life, and Margot will go back to her own timeline and continue with hers. Thank you, my friend, I appreciate your lovely review. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Sandra,

I hope you read some of this to her first. *smile* What a wonderful way to be remembered and kept alive. I love it!

The chapter was engaging - and now we know where we're heading. This chick is very brave and compassionate. A little foolish, maybe - but her heart's in the right place. Hugs-

Thank you, Robyn. She'll always be remembered for the kindest, most loving lady that graced the world, and I was one of the lucky ones who knew her and had her friendship. She loved being Bessie, and every time I write, 'I's thinking' I'll be thinking of her. :)

Thank you for this lovely review, dear Robyn, and yes, we know now where we are off to. Thanks, my dear friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

A well written chapter. It always amazes me when things are hard for someone to believe after they've already done the impossible like, time travel, become invisible, seeing their double and so on.

Flawless chapter

Oh no, so the not gambling' tease has been carried over to the next chapter, right, Sandra?

But first, my sincere condolences on the loss of your dear friend, Carole. I'll say a prayer for her, family, and for you. In a way, she's with you in the writing of this book. She's smiling down at you now wondering what's next.

Margot has really changed for the better during her time travel. She's figured out a lot of the clues and understands more what Bessie is telling her about Meg and the others involved. Bessie is one smart lady. To use her hairpin to pick the lock was genius and it worked more than once. The idea of multiple timelines running at the same time is intriguing--almost like a parallel universe. So, Margot will be able to return to hers. The question is will she want too? What about Miles? Would he, or could he, return with her? Now at the end of this chapter, readers find Bessie and Margot at the house that is the same as when Margot first bought it. Is Margot becoming Meg (reminiscent of the original Star Trek episode The Borg)?
AWESOME writing, Sandra, keeping everything moving along within the purpose in a complex array of characters.
Respectfully, Jan

I like to think she is, Jan. I'll miss her, but have so many amazing memories to last me another lifetime.

Margot has changed, but she is going to be tested once she becomes Meg. I remember the Borg, and yes, now that you've mentioned it, Margot is about to be assimilated!! (I loved that series and all of the Star Trek series) Lots coming up, Jan, I just so pleased you are still enjoying my story. Thank you, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

One of the great things about writing fantasy, and science fiction too, is that writers can make their own rules outside the natural order of things, somehow these have to be explained and the best way of doing this is through one of the characters, as you have done here with the character of Bessie.

Your note re your friend Carole's death explains why and how you do this so well here. With her decease being so recent, writing this must have been difficult, but it comes over really well.

The plot thickens in this episode. I am really into this and fantasy is not normally my choice of reading, but this has me hooked.

Aw, thank you, Jim. It was hard, but at the same time I've kept her alive. She didn't want a funeral as such, her family are having a celebration of her life. If I only knew Carole half as well as I do, I would still know she'll have arranged it to have everyone smiling.

I'm really pleased you thought I wrote this part well, it took me quite a while to get it right, even then I was nervous posting it. Thanks so much, Jim, and a big hug for the 6th star. Speak to you in an hour. xxx Sandra

Parallel timelines and one character merging into another. Fascinating concepts. It's intriguing to speculate on how this is going to end. I have a feeling that, if Margot manages to sort out this mess, she might end up returning to her own time as Meg and Miles's descendant. Whatever happens, I'll be along for the ride. Another eminently six-worthy chapter.

Margot is more likely to be an ancestor of Richard's, Meg sister. We will see! Hmm, if she does, she didn't inherit his nastiness.
Thank you so much for another of your lovely reviews, Tony, and the golden star. You always bring on a smile when I read your reviews. Thank you, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Thank you for the footnote about Carole and her connection to Bessie. I can't think of a better person to bring it off with panache than Carole's dearest friend. Carole lives on now in Bessie. I love this chapter, Sandra. Given the element of all that needs to be done within a defined time frame ramps up the tension. Lay it on!

Aw, thank you, Jay. Carole was one of rare ladies who brought the sunshine to your live. She was my lifeline when my first husband died nearly 40 years ago.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed this chapter, now Margot can really up the ante in bringing down the villians! Lol. Thank you, my dear friend, for that golden star, I love you!! :)) Sandra xxx

Thanks for explaining the writing is in UK English. I was wondering about that. I love a mystery and sorry I haven't read chapters 1 - 12. I might be more help if I had. I'm new to Fanstory so I'll become a fan and perhaps get a chance to read more of your work.

A great continuation chapter, Sandra. Oh my, such sadness regarding Carole. My prayers are with her, it was so nice of you to include her as the character of Bessie. This was definitely an interesting chapter. I especially liked how Margot summed it us-'Even if it means I have to give up my life in the future, I will do everything in my power to make her happy again.' This was very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings, hugs and smiles.

It was strange when I was creating Bessie, I realised I was describing Carole. She was such a fun person, and her eyes always had a twinkle in them. I'll miss her a lot.
I'm glad you enjoyed this part, Alie, now Margot can start to do what she was brought back to do, discover who want to kill her. Love and hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
