This poem is emotional and powerful.
It can be symbolic of sunsets as "ends"; an end of a relationship, a death.
Excellent poem. You say so much in just a few words.

For myself, I do not like going to bed early. And I consider myself a night owl. I guess you could say, I feel the same way. My days and nights have been messed up for decades. Thank you for the interesting poem.
