Amen! These poor souls need as many prayers as possible. The dramatic picture you added highlights the urgency of your words
Well done.
Best wishes

This is a strong poem using few words. The artwork is intense and pulls you in, holds and then your writing releases at the end. Well done. We can only pray for the Ukrainian's. My hope is that things won't get worse.

Satan the Devil, the one causing the heartbreak of war and dissent, is no doubt pleased at the loss of life and destruction his hateful ways have caused. Those who are in harmony with him will face the ultimate fate of total destruction.

Your artwork and your words Match wonderfully and are very heartfelt. As for praying to God for an answer, well good luck with that. I think you surely must have a winning entry here. Good luck and best wishes. Jen.

Wow! Paul,
This was so weird. I got a message saying you had posted something new. But when i came to look, it seems this is a blind contest! Soooo bizarre!
I wonder if the others are showing up like that??? Weird.
But a super message. Sweet, simple, to the point. Great job. Thank you!

Thanks, Robyn. I had trouble entering the contest. That may have been why things got weird.

This strange that this writing prompt entry came into my PM box, since author's information isn't supposed to be displayed. Hmm, a mess up. I agree with your entry. Yes, let's pray for Ukraine's citizens. They did not ask for this, yet they're the ones who suffer.

Thanks, Barb. I had trouble entering the contest. That may be the reason for the mix up.

I'll join with you in that prayer my friend. This is the best way to spend your words, writing your prayers and spending, the written word of God is as powerful as the spoken word, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy. Prayers and guns are what is needed.
-
Only God is needed, the sword is man?s idea of solving problems,
-
Sometimes we must stand up and fight
And draw the sword against our foe
Like Joshua did one starlit night
Outside the walls of Jericho.

This 2-10-2, A Prayer, has the right setup and takes a moment to send an appeal to God for the Ukrainian folks who are suffering under the merciless Russian invasion.

-Good artwork.
-The syllable count is good,
along with your prayer for Ukraine.
-Ukraine and its people need so many
prayers, and yours is a good example.
-A good entry; good luck.
-I appreciate you sharing it.
