Masterfully crafted, Beth! No wonder it won the contest! You've got rhymes and the specifics of the abecedarian poetry all lined up here, with an air of mystery surrounding the beauty of our moon.

Thank you so much Mary Kay. I'm suffering from and Intentional virus right now and I not feeling much like writing anything. I've had it nearly a week and I'm hoping I'll soon be better.

You're very welcome, dear Beth. I often have intestinal problems too, and they can be very unpleasant. I hope you're feeling much better, by now.
I'm sorry I'm not around much. I'm just going through a very difficult time, along with my family members. Thank you so much for your prayers, and may God bless you, too.
    Love, Mary Kay xoxo

A job well done here with the moon as the topic in this Abecedarian poem- reminding the reader of the Moon's role, so to speak - and with a beautiful picture to illustrate

The moon, sun and star are beautiful creations of God. The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite. The Sun is the largest object in our solar system. Stars are born within the clouds of dust and scattered throughout most galaxies. The moon does sendoff signals of romance.

This Abecedarian poem, Earth's Moon, has twenty-six lines, follows the alphabet and reminds the readers of all the ideas and inspirations we have gleaned from simply observing it. Neat.

This is exceptional and should earn sixes... if only we had some left. I know how difficult it is to write one of these Abecedarians, and I think the best thing about this poem is that it tells a story about the moon and is at the same time, educational. I'm pretty sure this will win the contest and in my opinion, it truly deserves to. It is the best one I've read. I admire your skill in making it flow so nicely and saying all the right things at the same time. Excellent entry in this contest!

I think the poet did an awesome job writing this poem about the moon. I love the choice of words and the guidelines were met. I'm a moon gazer and this was the very first one I read in this contest and when I read it I just fell in love with it. It's informative about the moon. I like it because it's about the moon.

That is quite the chronology of the lunar cycle. Very well done. It should be one of the few to be favored when the tally ends. Good luck. .....................................
