This is short and beautiful. I actually love very short poetry the best because each word must be prefect for the message. Your poem fits the bill. So happy we have found each other on this writing site.

Oh no, another syllable count poem!
At least yours are all present and correct for the piece. It' a nice little piece of observational poetry which I personally like. That picture could have been taken from my front door! lol
I have a preference for the sunset though!

Very nice. We can easily visualize the sun rising over the sea. I like the image of a "golden bowl burst[ing] into glorious color" at the break of day. A perfect photo chosen to illustrate your poem. Rod
