I admire your smooth flow of rhyming words that captures a spiritual feel as you observe the horizon, a new beginning to the day or could be the end of the day. There is a healing sense from nature in your words and the horizon is often beautiful just like a painting. Excellent theme for a poem.

I have to admit, I skipped your poem about Grandma. But I could not skip this one. You did a beautiful job with the rhythm and rhyme. Your theme of season change is very lovely. I too, feel renewed when our hot Texas summers change into (an almost equally hot) autumn. Maybe I'll go back and read about Grandma.

I love Autumn too. it is my favourite season of the year with its warm days and cool nights. There is always something to do in the garden in Autumn and I always found the Autumn roses were more beautiful with a richer perfume and somehow they seemed to last longer than those earlier in the year. This piece speaks of a personal relationship with God, who "told" her it would soon be "fall". It is a charming poem well deserving of a top score cheers Cass
