I love that the Lord gave you the "God moment" in seeing that amazing sunrise! I especially liked that you could see a promise of a beautiful new autumn and His promises fulfilled. Don't know how I missed this one.

Oh thank you so much Helen. I wrote this months ago and kinda forgot about it, so I was shocked when I got the news. Besides 'Writer of the month for July,' this is very special as it's from the committee's vote. I don't normally see that.
It has really been a much needed brightener for the weekend, as I also just got notice of a first place for, the laugh contest and a third for Jesse's poem.
I am always in awe of all the wonderful awards you get, but never seem to see them until way after the fact. I need to start watching more closely, so I too can be more supportive of you and other's special awards.
Thank you again my very dear friend!

This is a lovely rhyming poem about the beauty of the natural world. Of course God is the reason, no doubt about it. The picture you included is beautiful, I've seen some like it in my years. Thank you for sharing. :)

Nicely done, Debi. Congratulations on writing the poem book for your family. I had a similar experience when I wrote my poem book. Some of the sunrises and sunsets that we have are truly amazing.

Reading the caption below where you speak on being in awe by nature's existence, in reading your poetry, it also sounds as if you enjoy being in it all as well which nature is such a peaceful, quiet, reflective space. It sounded as if you enjoyed writing this poem as well. I felt it. That feeling was bittersweet. From the photograph, the orange sun against the foreground as the first impression before even a word was read, to your wonderful poetic verses that brought it to end, if it needs to be said, it came full circle. From start to finish it didn't disappoint.
