Hello Patricia,
Thanks for sharing a pleasant memory with us. I used to go down the alleyway and feed a neighbor's chickens berries. I never knew what they were, but the chickens liked them and none of them died, so I guess they were harmless.

I like this poem. The verse and the picture are cute. Not sure if those are roosters or hens in the picture. But then again, I'm not a rooster officianado.

This sounds like a nice memory. The only chicken memory I have is when my dog killed the pastor's rooster. This sounds like your grandmother's chickens were happy. That's great. Thanks for sharing this nice memory.
