Well this fits the brief as far as the competition rules are concerned. It's certainly hopeful, some may even say in vain...
I've never understood this over-riding faith, maybe it's because I live in the world without blinkers on.
I think we're given things, skills, attributes to help ourselves rather than praying for help all the time. I don't think that's the point of prayer.
Just some thoughts

Can't say I disagree entirely with you. However, the charge was to write about hope and I believe hope and prayer are linked in the minds of many. Thanks for the read, review and discussion.
