I can hear the nightingales. Your words are peaceful and promising. The overall effect is enhanced by the lack of meter and rhyme. Your poem just ambles.

Debbie, thank you so much for your wonderful words of encouragement. I have always struggled with writing FV and usually stick with meter (I guess that is why I love the FS meter class so much), but I thought I should try to stretch a little. The poem expresses hope that God will watch over everyone and bring on the good things in life and as such, this is an inspiring piece. And we can count on night turning into the day with a beautiful dawn. Glorious colors abound for everyone to enjoy.
