When a loved one is lost, it always leaves overwhelming pain in someone's heart and life seems to stand still, not worth living anymore. I had felt when I lost a loved one. Best wishes to you.

The thought of a loved gone to fight in a war will lead to great sorrow, and no one can know if there will be a reunion.
Of course, this poem can also refer to to a relationship so troubled that can only lead to pointless disputes.

A very sad and touching poem. It is so timely now when you see the pictures of a woman on the train saying goodbye to her husband as she leaves for Poland and he stays in Ukraine.

This was a great Somonka Poem, Gypsy. If I read your notes properly it involves a romantic situation among two people, whether lovers, siblings, etc. This was beautiful because it was a couple responding to each other. I loved your words and loved the picture. Blessed be.

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and one I'm sure many, many people in Ukraine are experiencing right now, and for what? So a madman can prove he had sound judgement, that he didn't make a terrible decision?

I like your poem - the picture goes with the story nicely - subject looking outward longingly waiting for his return looking at the fog. Seems to be telling a story of a lover off to war - but interestingly it is a dimension of love itself on a different level - the love and then the absence, the yen and the yang , the having and then the loss that gives it vibrancy - imagine embracing forever or never coming back? Yes? The fire of expectation. The breathing in and the breathing out of love. Not sadness. Good job.
