This is a well written gluttonous poem. This poem is the very definition of gluttony. Your rhyming scheme is consistent throughout the poem. Nice job.

A delightfully amusing piece of writing, accompanied by a mouth-watering piece of your own artwork. I'm also a bit of a glutton, but where you go for the sweet stuff, I tend towards Chinese takeaways. So unhealthy... but the wife rations me to one takeaway per fortnight! :-)
Thanks for such an enjoyable read.

I had fun writing it so I'm pleased you enjoyed the humour.
I thought Chinese takeaways were healthy - all those vegetables.

Vegetables??? Beef in Black Bean Sauce! Sweet and Sour Pork! Fried Rice! Greasy Spring Roles! Salt and Chilli King Prawns! Who buys veg from the Chinese? :-) Best wishes.

Gee whizz!! Here in New Zealand there are lots of veggies with Chinese food - bean sprouts, bok choy cabbage, carrots, beans, peas, corn, onion...
but of course it is the fried stuff with sticky sauces that is most appealing.

Doesn't veggies have two "g"s? I love an occasional cake and my local supermarket sells fresh chocolate muffins and they are to die for, you made my mouth water here, love Dolly x

I don't think I've ever seen it written down. I had 2 gg's to begin with then I thought as vegetables only has one g then so should vegies...
But I have checked now on the internet and you are right... so I changed it back to veggies. Now where did I put my cake?

Yesssa. This poem really speaks to me. You see, sweets are one of the food groups. And we need our allotment. Marzipan. Bring it on. I love the bawdy humor of your poem.
