Wild animals coming out of their habitats into human settlement has given to worry all over the world .WE have leopards coming out to kill cattle and goats .There is a national park surrounding the teeming city of Mumbai(Bombay) Leopards often stray into the city to catch street dogs! Destruction of forests have dwindled their food sources...
Enjoyed reading their outing and the mouthwatering pic of the ribeye steak..

A very good section as Cord is obviously helping her loosen up. It is a little worrisome that Pat is there. Wonder what is next when they go dancing. Have a lovely time visiting your son. One letter missing-- . . . salmon and move(d) it . . .

A fine chapter, Barbara. That whole scene and your artwork made me cave a midnight snack. I don't know how you can write two romance novels at the same time. Good job.

I'm hoping Alex will tell Cord about Pat being there. He could easily set him straight. Cord gets himself a vet case while at the restaurant. It's funny to think of a guy who's used to horses and cattle treating a little dog. Alex lets her guard down, but just a little bit. She's still holding back. Cord's charm will begin working on her, though. Excellent story development. judi

Before going back home Cord had a vet practice in Houston, more about that is coming. So far it was just briefly mentioned. Thank you for the kind review.

Well, I'll be going back out to eat for the second time today thanks to you. But I'll bet that I don't find a steak that looks anything like as tasty as the one in your picture. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter. :-)

Having not read the previous 6 chapters I'm not sure I can be of much help. I do like the large font. I didn't know we could use images from Google. The dialogue (something I have to work on) is very good. I can see this chapter building the relationship.

Cord seems to be a busy Veternaian. And you hooked me into the story. I wondered how Alexandra felt about the server talking about her dog's ear infection? And the older couple about the bulls? I know things happen. However, it seems rude to interrupt a couple having dinner. And, being on the first date, a man assumes it is okay to say he will have half of her meat. You have a great story. Everyone has different opinions.

True, first nobody knows it's a first date, plus it's a very small town. In small towns liberties are always taken. Thank you for the kind review.

So, the relationship is being established and the descriptive text is a fabulous one and I really enjoyed it. I think most of us can identify with the restaurant scenes, but the bit with Pat's image gave it that tinge of drama, well done, good writing blessings Roy

This is a nice chapter with Ali and Cordero getting to know a little bit more about each other. Still, Ali is afraid to open up about her past boyfriend. And I too wonder what Pat was doing there. I look forward to finding out more about these things, and how the dancing goes.

I noticed a couple of little typos:
"teased Alexandra as she motioning(motioned or was motioning) for Sarah"
"Cordero cut part of his salmon and move(d) it to Alexandra's plate."
"I have a feeling(;) she'll find a spot for at least one bite." - no semi-colon required. Probably a slip of a finger :)
