Another beautiful post with a wonderful message. :) I love the artwork too!
I think in our times, we do take each other for granted. We still judge others by their religion, race, and sex. Although times have gotten better, I'm not sure if it will ever completely change. All we can do is pray for peace and equality.
Thanks for sharing.
Always your fan,
Shana :)

This is a beautifully written poem. It has a great flow and rhyme scheme. Nice overall presentation. Very beautiful photo to compliment your words. For in our land injustice reigns, for without mercy judgement stains. I've tried to change my cruel heart,
but with love's rule I'll make a start.

A well constructed poem. The flow is good. The rhymes are not strained. The progression from question, to exploration, to conclusion falls in order. The language is simple and forceful. I especially love the part about sub-clauses.
It would seem that sub-clauses in any document are but an invitation to redefine the meaning and find an end around.
Thanks for a thoughtful read.

Your poem is thought-provoking and demonstrates wisdom. Love the Lord your God. Most Christians would say that they do. However, most cannot say they love their neighbors as they do themselves, as evidenced by the fact that most individuals need to feel they are superior to someone. Superiority could be based on race, religion, body size or shape, home address, sexual orientation, or mere clothing style. "For in our land injustice reigns, for without mercy judgement stains."

You wonder why women were treated so badly at first. Now it is a totally different story; women can take out a loan, buy a car, vote and are acknowledged for their professional work.

Roy, you have so many good words of wisdom, and I see your heart is most open. But human beings, even with all the advancements that we have made in technology, science and medicine, we really have not evolved. I don't know what the answer is. "A prophet is never appreciated in his own home" or in his lifetime. Best wishes.

An excellent poem with an excellent message for us all. It sounds so simple "love God, love one another ". Unfortunately, we can't even get that right.
A beautiful and timeless message.
Blessings

Who can say why things happen as they do. The world has changed so much, but God has a plan in place and I have to believe that things will turn out ok. Thank you for sharing.

The World has changed so much that man is more interested in self. Jesus is the only one without sin. If we acknowledge our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. Book of Revelation is now playing out, we know we are His. K xx
