There are such beautiful images and sentiments expressed in this lovely piece of poetry, and I'm quite sure we all share your hopes and wishes for a speedy resolution to the Ukrainian problems. So well written.

The last stanza does not have the same rhythm of the other stanzas. Perhaps some wording could be different to make it flow easier. I like the them, Try to remember, in todays world we certainly need to remember the beauty.

Hello Willie P. Smith,
It's a nice piece of poetry TRANSPARENTLY depicting the natural beauty around us, and reminding us to enjoy it wholeheartedly forgetting the negative aspects prevalent in the world.
Lucid as well as PERFECTLY matching the theme phraseology; Enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme.
The last stanza summing up the poem is particularly noteworthy.
BESTOF LUCK in the contest.

Your nature poem is beautifully written. The things God created are the sun, moon and stars, flowers, grass, even leaves to cover the trees. And you are correct in stating we should appreciate these natures.

Beautiful poem. You're absolutely right, we do need to stop and appreciate all the beauty the world has to offer, even amidst all the ugliness. Best wishes to you.

A beautiful poem, good rhyming and a perfect picture. You are so right, when our world is in turmoil, it is easy to forget all the blessings that God has given us, and the things of nature to enjoy.

Yes, this. Let us always remember the beauty we are privileged to enjoy. And let us always share what we can of the beauty ... art is a privilege as well. Your poem and the image you chose for it brings light to my day.

How lovely and just what we need right now. We are nearer to God in the garden than anywhere else, someone wrote. Here it is the end of winter so we still have piles of dirty snow, I am really looking forward to my garden this year. All the best, Laura.

This was really beautiful and impactful. It really made me forget all the things that were bothering me and start to appreciate the little things around me, especially nature. A lot of things make us feel hopeless, but this piece helps us remember all the wonderful things that life has to offer. Great job!

Hi Willie,
I enjoyed your poem. It sure is nice to take in God's gifts in nature instead of watching what Putin is doing to the Ukraine. It's really sickening. Who would have guessed this would happen now? And right on the heels of two Covid years.
Let's hope that this war
stays clear of our shores.
Your poem is a terrific entry for the No Rules Poetry contest, and I wish you good luck.
I especially liked this verse,
"The grass on the hill,
Like a carpet of green.
The flow of the water,
In a river or stream."
Nicely penned! Thanks for sharing.
I'm waiting for God to intervene because NATO won't.
Cheers,
Kimbob
