This is so true Terry! What an Awesome piece of work. You pretty much told my story, as well as so many others. I wanted to give you another star, but I must have used mine up for the month. Thank you for the extremely spot on story of getting older. God Bless!

FanStory that can relate to your eyes...a lot of the
writers on here are retired people...who finally in
their older years have more time to write...there are some
amazingly talented writers on here...

I try and enlarge my text as I understand that the text is difficult to read if it is too small. I also skip work with no paragraphs or punctuation as I lose my way when reading! He he he, a poignant write Terry, love Dolly x

You are more than enough, just trying is everything. That's why I use a larger font because there are some I can't read at 65. What a wonderfully written poem. Keep 'em coming. Best of luck with your writing!

Thank you for being here to read and review along with us. I completely understand about the need to be able to see the print. Sometimes the colors can be too loud for my eyes and I can't read it. Enjoyed your reviewing comments in your series of 5-7-5 stanzas! The colors and the font size were perfect!

I found myself agreeing with each stanza as I read down. I'm in awe of most of the poets here so I just try to be kind and encouraging. So here you go. Great job. Keep up the good work!

It seems like you are writing this poem about me. I can see myself in almost every line. I just had my eyes checked, and he said that my cataracts were not ready for the laser yet.

Nor are mine. And removing them would do nothing for the opti neuritis that accompanies MS, so why bother. We'll have to do our best to enlarge when we can and clarify what we must! Thanks for he stars and your time in reading and reviewing~ I'm off to find one of yours!
