Disappointment
Boy dropped his ice cream cone.5 total reviews

I like this poem because it's a sweet poem about an upset child and it's genuineness and simplicity makes it a steal. The simplest little things make them cry and the smallest acts of kindness makes them happy. We as adults need to learn from them. I like this poem because of its simplicity.

Thank you for your read and your encouraging feedback.

Nice job. It was simple, got to the point, and the picture tied it all together. While I read this I guess I was focusing more in the picture because what I thought I read was: I screamed.
Your title was also very appropriate.

Thanks for the read and the review. What do you think would have made it a five star offering?

This is a very good 2-4-2 poem for the contest.
I'd be crying too (or worse) if I dropped my ice cream cone in the sand.
I like the way each line ends in a word starting with "c".
Nicely done.
Good luck in the contest.

Cute, and the picture fits perfectly. I know it's hard to tell a story in those few syllables, but you managed to do it! Thank you for sharing this. Best wishes.

Love the picture and the words you have used to describe it. I am sure all of us can remember the anticipation of holding that ice cream cone and taking the first taste, only to drop it on the ground. That is a great disappointment.

Thank you for taking the time to read and review. I remember licking the scoop and it dropped out of the cone.
