Kids....you can't make this stuff up! You have a rare gift of writing conversationally...without pretense...

Almost in chatty, familiar way, as though so were sharing this memory with me over a cup of coffee.

I have so many "near tragic but all turned out fine" memories from my own childhood.

I am a fan of your style!

I think about every kid in the world has stuck something somewhere it didn't belong, and then panicked when things didn't turn out like they thought. Thanks for sharing your well written and entertaining read. And for the chuckle! Wish I had a six.

Oh, for the innocence and the mischief each child holds. How can they learn best if not from making mistakes? Did you ever break another beanbag? Have you bought one for your kids? Lesson learned.

Tom, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for the excellent rating. I agree that the best lessons learned are through mistakes. I certainly never broke a beanbag again!

That's a good story. i guess that was the
end of the bean bag or did they try and tape it.
Seems inevitable to pop it especially at that age.
I hope it came out easy enough. Guess you would have to
get some tweezers. Love the pic. I like the description of the feeling of jumping on the bean bag. ty

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for the excellent rating. I honestly don't remember what happened to the beanbag, and my sister ended up blowing the bean out of her nose with a tissue. The tweezers were definitely on standby!
