Where is the best place to be, all our lives really, the happiest, carefree place is in the lap of childhood, both of my children said they enjoyed their childhood, as a parent that was music to my ears. Beautifully written Debra, blessings Roy

Excellent entry for the Lune Poetry Contest. I love the line poetic form.
Alzheimer is a horrible disease. My grandmother had it. She thought she was a child and would runaway looking for the home she lived in her childhood.

Oh, that's so hard. I can relate to this as my father is really in his childhood and often behaves like a temperamental child. His vocabulary has become limited, too. Your brief lune poem covers well that distance from time that Alzheimer/Dementia patients have. Best wishes in the contest!

Oh, that's so hard. I can relate to this as my father is really in his childhood and often behaves like a temperamental child. His vocabulary has become limited, too. Your brief lune poem covers well that distance from time that Alzheimer/Dementia patients have. Best wishes in the contest!
