Awww! This is a delightful poem, my friend. Blowing bubbles is something that every child adores, yet if those bubbles turned into butterflies, this ol' gal would be puffing too. :)

I very much like this image of butterflies as bubbles (or the inverse - it all seems deliciously muddled) and especially the words :
'tiny rainbow orbs' resonate inside my mind.

This is a great take on the picture, dear SATP, and the lovely poem you've created from it, is just lovely. I love butterflies, and will miss my Buddleia butterfly bush I had in our garden in the last house we lived in. I like the way you have chosen bubbles for your poem, totally different from everyone elses. But then again, you have always been original in your writing. Well done, my dear sister, I really enjoyed reading your poem. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm always a bit off from everyone else. I live in my own little world, but it's okay. They all know me there. lol.

I enjoy wordplay. This is fun: " flutter by." This has a playful animation. It could serve as several metaphors. There is powerful alliteration. The hard sounding consonants, especially the b's creates an interesting effect. To say some word beginning with b, we have to make a bit of a bubble with our cheeks. Cool. Huh?

What a charming picture to work with, the child blowing butterflies. It certainly was a great inspiration for you. This is a delightful poem that children would love. They would like the image of blowing butterflies. Excellent rhyme, with the fourth line for variation.

A whimsical poem letting the imagination fly free, like the butterflies. You have written it in an interesting way with the first three lines rhyming in each stanza. Gentle, lovely poem.

This is a cute fantasy poem. It would be a poem children would enjoy. I wonder where butterflies go when it rains. It would seem the wind and rain would beat those beautiful wings to pieces. It's not like they fold up.

I like the idea of bubbles and butterflies. You make their adventures come to life in this poem. You've done a great job. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us.
