Of course the ride is safe, or it wouldn't be allowed to operate. I guess a couple of kids wouldn't figure that out, and they'd be scared to death. Good luck in the contest.

They say that you use all five of your senses, and if you can't use your eyes, as here, the other senses are enhanced. That could have come over more clearly I think, but in terms of emotions you did a tremendous job of demonstrating the fear, anxiety and hysteria that are key elements of horror. Also, you clearly hit the right tone to ensure horror rather than being "off".

Also, you clearly hit the right tone to ensure horror rather than being "off".

They were totally done before they got strapped in. It reminds me of a William Castle movie, you were scared thinking about the title. What a wonderfully written story. I wish I had a six for you.

They were totally done before they got strapped in. It reminds me of a William Castle movie, you were scared thinking about the title. What a wonderfully written story. I wish I had a six for you.

This was well written. Having the boys scared before getting them on the ride did the trick. This story was easy to read, and flowed well. The conditions the boys had to meet, connected well with the rest of the story. The emotions of the boys were illustrated well in this story well done.

Haha! Clever! When the ride ended, I was disappointed that you failed to go in to detail about what actually happened in the ride. And then, I read the last sentence and laughed. Six stars because you got me! Great job!

A nice little story, and well told. It is easy to scare young children, when you have the aid of their own imaginations. And in the dark our imaginations reign supreme.
