This was a great poem, it read perfectly and I did not notice any errors, it could be a true situation, kids enjoy the thrill of rides, for some who get older their bodies and minds would not tolerate it

Very well written. One can feel the boys' terror as the ride progresses and the darkness becomes thick and absolute. At least they came out safely! Best wishes for your entry.

Some of those Halloween houses can be really frightening. When we were young, we enjoyed the scary frightening movies and houses, too. Now I can bypass these kinds of features very easy.

good story and believable dialogue - of course, it would be with your having managed a spook house. AND, you fooled me. I thought something really was going to happen to them.

Hi there,
I think you did a great job with this piece. Fits to competition to a 'tee' as they say. The imagination is always more terrifying than what you can see.

This is great. I agree that it's what you can't see that is the most terrifying. I remember watching a kid's movie, "The Dark Crystal" and the monster was much more frightening before it was actually shown to the audience. Good luck in the contest.
