Lovely rhymed acrostic, dear Wendy.
Each line is serene in itself while still forming part of the whole - facets of a jewel.
The final line reminds me of the much loved hymn, "There is a balm in Gilead"
In my bedroom I keep a piece of artwork with the Chinese characters for serenity. Whenever my gaze falls on it I feel soothed and refreshed.
I visualize your poem framed and displayed in a suitable setting.
The illustration and presentation of your acrostic augment the effect of its words.

This is a nice piece. The only bump for me was "perfumes."
Essence of balm? Bouquet? idk. Perhaps "perfumes as?" Is perfume 'like' balm as re: to being similar or 'as' a function of balm? Best wishes.
