I'm sorry I missed the contest , I would have definitely voted for your poem.
Coming back as a dog would be nice if you are lucky to have an owner that loves you and takes care of your every need.
Sadly thought there are so many dogs that are abused and even staved to death on purpose.
I was going to send you a link but I had second thoughts .. it's not a nice sight .. it breaks one heart.
So , be careful what you wish for....

thanks. I have had two dogs in my life and finally became a dog lover. But I am more of a cat person.

If I came back as you discuss, I'd need a house that has a door with a trap because I see people who do not walk their mutts often enough causing strain. Also, if I was to be a dog, I' like to find an alternative to earth. Once around this planet is sufficient, and finally if my soul left and was well received above, I 'd leave well enough alone.
