I love your poem comparing romance to the weather. You have given us many great comparisons and I love your concluding lines: "So, grab control. Take a wild guess. Shoot for the moon. The worst to occur might be a wash out;"

While this is certainly a unique take on the prompt and an interesting read. I wonder if it more prose than poetry. I think it is good. I wish you luck in the contest. The differences in it and the great choice of presentation will help it stand out.

I would suggest a better flow, or rhythm but this is good too.

Color me dense. Prose and poetry I felt was one and the same, though I see poetry rhymes. Therefore, I am not always a poet but when I am not am I a proset? :))

I loved this piece! How true that romances follow the weather of the ages. This has all the elements of truth, that glint of amusement, and the reality of romance. I wish you much success with the contest.

Now that's an interesting take on love. I hope a warm front doesn't collide with a strong cold front creating massive storms. What a wonderfully written poem and the picture is amazing.

Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

that is as cute as it can be! A hesitant venture into love with a weatherman's explanation of the female's unpredictable and sometimes turbulent disposition. Clever, clever!
I did look up the word, romantical to see if it was a word, and you wouldn't believe some of the stuff that was said about it on my computer. I still go with romantic forecaster, but it seems, in the opinion of some, okay.
That's a great picture, by the way. I wrote a poem for kids about all the different kinds of clouds and what they meant. Wish I'd had that picture.
Anyway, a great choice for the contest, and fun to read. Good luck.

This is a lovely poem and an apt comparison. It's an interesting exploration of the unpredictable and tempestuous nature of love.

I enjoyed the metaphor - at times it might've gotten a tiny bit one-to-one/literal/direct in it's comparisons - I almost feel as though you could steer into the weather descriptions and let us, as readers, infer the subtext/connection to love.

But I greatly enjoyed this entry and wish you best of luck in the contest!

Your poem is very descriptive, appealing, and expressive--building its theme by pointing out the parallels between the weather and personal relationships. Both can be calm and lovely, volatile, unpredictable. Very creative
