This story is very heart-warming and lovely. You described the scenario well where an angel is believed to have intervened in someone's life. I think angels are among us and that they do rescue us sometimes. Your writing illustrates this idea very well. Nice job!

The difference between being dead or alive is a huge gap, I know of a young lady who died of leukaemia, the day before she died, she saw Jesus, nobody else did, but I believe she did, because I believe in this, all I know she was very pleased to see Him, beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

I've always felt comfortable with the thought that just as in life, when approaching death people have individual experiences... and angels may well be part of that experience. It is a time of transition and it is nice to be welcomed or farewelled to a different realm. As a hospice nurse you are in a privileged position to witness this special moment of life - someone's death. Finding closure and peace with the help of angels is a lovely thought.
Question:
There seems to be a word missing in this sentence near the beginning:

Should it perhaps read: "This was made clear to me as a Hospice Nurse."
or maybe
