This is a good story and I also believe in angels, but I think you should go back through your story and check the word Angel. You are spelling in wrong. You are spelling it angle and instead of angel.

Where did it come from? Where had it been? Did angels take up residence in a post-mortal existence or are awaiting in a pre-mortal world. An image arranged for by our conscience, perhaps.

You did a good job with your contest entry, Mystery Author. I was engaged from start to finish to find out the conclusion. Your words flow smoothly with great imagery. Of course, the angel guided you then.

May I suggest `
Just by the door which lead ( led ) outside to the cars. From around the corner(,) I saw something white peek around. I kept looking. The figure stepped out [ try not to repeat around--I can't think of a change, but maybe you can IF you wish. ]
