Lovely story proving that a chair is not always "just a chair." It is a storehouse of memories and in this case, it transmits a grandfather love to those who come and sit in its "lap."

You have several sentences I love. But, this one was my favorite.
The wrinkled and patched leather of the chair, reminded me of my father's face. Worn but comfortable.
Nice little tell for 100 words.
