This contest had so many requirements it had my head spinning.
Your opening paragraph already had won my vote .. I was laughing so much.
The last paragraph was awesome too.
By the way it is common belief that the first Christians were sent to be devoured by lions in the Colosseum in Rome .. the truth is there is no documented trace of that..
Overall , a creative, witty narrative !

Thank you very much -- this was a fun and crazy entry to write, mixing subversion with conservatism, the perfect recipe for Fanstory votes. I finally drew the line after this contest as the next one had 21 required words. It looked like I was far ahead of the [lion] pack to win, but suddenly a ton of votes appeared overnight for one of the other entries... hmm...

Thank you so much John! I really appreciate it. The insane restrictions in this contest actually helped to bring out the creativity. I thought I'd win this one but still got some great votes and a great response -- it was really fun to write, definitely my best in this contest series hosted by ALCREATOR.

There are a bunch of rules for this contest. good luck. You do have a picture of a pretty woman; you don't need more but you added luscious cleavage. But what makes it great work is adding apostasy to the conversation! Good work!

Thank you very much Terry! Yeah the pretty woman just so happens to be a therapist in a pretty risque show, albiet one I have not seen, but apparently is about the worst therapist ever who tries to take advantage of her clients -- so it seemed quite appropriate! I followed the Dragonskulls formala to a T on this piece, and it seems to have paid off. The crazier the contests get, the more fun they are to subvert.

Missy - thank you for this killer review! I am waaay behind on responding to my reviews and planning to catch up this weekend now that I just finished my last work shift. Yeah this was a fun one. The more prohibitions that get added, the more exciting the challenge and the crazier I have to get to subvert them. Although this entry seemed strangely orthodox, like a mix of the stories of Daniel, Potiphar's wife, and the death of Jezebel rolled into one. Something tells me there are going to be more of these contests coming. I really appreciate the six stars. I sure need them after all the crap my gorilla and banana poems get (literally).

I updated my story, thanks to your review, to make the acid organic. I think that is an oxymoron, haha. The image of that woman showed up on a google search and when I looked it up afterwards for attribution it looks like she actually was a notorious therapist on a TV show, deserving of being eaten by lions. On behalf of the lions, I hope she was organic.

Yeah, the more excessive the rules are, the more fun the challenge. The main challenge in this case was getting all the required words out of the way at the beginning, compartmentalizing it. It was very much in the style of a DragonSkulls entry. Glad you enjoyed it!
