    If you look the word up, you will be told just to give human characteristic to inanimate objects and flora and fauna. Thanks for your read and feedback.

I think this is the best personification story I've read so far. I like the idea of personification of objects. Very nice job. Good luck in the contest. Stay safe and stay healthy.

This is a very beautiful personification of the sun, and the sentiments that you express so eloquently are shared by this sun-worshipper. Sadly, living in Ireland, our friend doesn't visit us nearly enough, but when he does... oh the joy and the warmth. :-) Very well written.
