Of these three listed today this is my least favorite. Dreams and Sweet Scents are my favorites and are deserving of five stars. So what I am going to do is cut and paste this comment to be sure to give you credit on those as well as this one. Where did your interest in Japanese life begin?
Do you have a piece written describing it/ if so please share.

Oh yes, this is great Gypsy. Most enjoyable to read and see your lovely presentation add to think it's all in black-and-white, but you make it very effective. The words are great too, particularly the Satori is very clever. I look forward to more, Giddy

What an interesting expression of the coming turning of the seasons. It evokes a very down to earth feeling of melting temperatures that take away some things and opens up others.

Oh the poor snowman has no choice. It just dissolves into a puddle as the weather warms. How ignominious to have your nose eaten by a crow!
Amusing write, Gypsy. I don't think Olaf would be impressed though.
Thanks for sharing

This was a great Modern Haiku, Gypsy, I truly loved the picture of the crow. You were brilliant with your few words simply because the action in the first two lines complimented the last line. Very well done, greatly enjoyed.

I like that, being an omnivore, or rather, an anything that's available to eat is OK. just the thought of a crow eating a carrot, opposed to anybody eating crow is a great turn up for the books, beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy

Yes Gypsy, this scene can definitely happen. Of course, the crow may preempt the melt (--;
I appreciate your overall presentation, including your regularly posted notes and explanations about form and format.

I like your style of write. For, you have written a
very hot Haiku. For, everything coincided with and
followed the rules, while simultaneously making it
sound good. Nice. Keep Writing. And don't forget
to stop by, and talk to me. Stay Connected

I like this poem- the silent passage of time slowly transforming before our eyes- as we rename them- tree - table - chair - snow - snowman as they seem to change in shape and form with the seasons of life - the crow symbolizes adaptation to the subtle mind - eating convenient carrots- inspiring poets to paint word pictures- good job
