Satan tempted the son of God to kneel before him and offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world. Jesus quoted the written word, then rebuked him. If we say yes to the devil and serve him willingly, he has the power to control us because we gave it to him. Maybe that is what you were referring to here in the context of sinners.

Very interesting. Did Moses do the parting or God do it. In a way I guess God used Moses to help his chosen people. So Moses is an interesting character. I like what you have here, and it contrast nicely with
