Congratulations on your 2nd placing with this lovely presentation. The image is a perfect accompaniment for your words. Hope might just be wishful thinking but it focuses the mind on the possibility of a good result and can overcome negativity.
Hopefully, we can continue to hope that our situation isn't hopeless.

Melissa,
This is a wonderfully true sentiment. Hope is always burning in a heart that looks for its meaning. The artwork use both the open hands and the candlelight as symbols of hope.
Keep writing and stay healthly
Congrats on placing second in the contest.

It is good when a person can least hope. Hope is better than nothing.
Having hope keeps people from doing bad things.
You have the right amount of syllables for each line.

I saw that you won 2nd place in 2-4-2. So I read your poem and I wanted to tell you that this was in only six words, one that touches an emotional stirring that there is always hppe.
The illustration accelerates your strong message.
Best wishes

Now...That's a perfect 2-4-2 . For, it goes deeper than
the naked eye...in a world, where love is so underrated.
Therefore, you've said a thousand words in such a short
display. Nevertheless, you did your thing. Keep Writing.
And don't forget to stop by, and talk to me. Stay Connected

I liked this poem and the sentiment it expresses. The necessary word you used the expresses the entire idea perfectly is "yearning." Indeed, without it, there is no hope. Good job!

Yes, a fine entry for the 2-4-2 contest.
In only six words, the message is loud and clear - hope - something to positively be held onto. I also really like how the cupped hands mimic a heart with the candle acting as burning hope. Very good coupling of words and visual. Great job!

Good luck with your contest entry. The candles in the hand showed ebbing hope. We sometimes we yearn for things and wonder why we don't get them. The message in your poem tells a story in three little lines. Well done. K xx
