Hey, It's Dennis, who you probably don't remember, but I remember you. We had a FS friendship going way back and when I spasmodically come back on, I usually look to see if there's any new stuff by you. Glad to see you are still writing and I hope you're doing well. I think we actually talked via phone once and if memory serves, you live in RI? I'm on Cape Cod.
I thought your story here was excellent and I love the surprise "Boo!" ending. Nice twist with humor.

At the very top of the top, it is posted Spiritual Non-Fiction, but it is entered into Spiritual Fiction. You might want to look at that. Good writing.

Also, the story is fine but the structure is something that needs attention.
You should go and write this with proper paragraphs, to make things more readable. This will greatly enhance such a fine story.
