The moon has been hailed for its beauty and romantic symbolism AND blamed for things it is not at all connected to. Your sonnet is excellent--skillfully written, vividly descriptive, and expressive. You're right--Answers to life's struggles won't come from the moon!

Thank you for the review. I'm so glad you like my poem. I wrote about the January Wolf Moon so maybe I'll write a poem about the others.

This is a beautiful picture, and a beautiful poem, Beth. I'll have to share this with my husband. His birthday is on the 16th of February, and we could use some resetting and re-evaluating after these hard three years. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Judy. I'm glad you like it. We all could use a reset and I hope one will come soon. The last couple of years have been unbelievable.

You did a great job with your sonnet moon poem, Beth. I enjoyed reading it. The moon is mysterious and beautiful. Your words are well chosen, they are descriptive, and true. I agree with your thoughts about change found in space.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello Beth, a timely poem. I especially liked:

The last three years have made us seek a change.
We're tired of masks and sheltering in place.
(That's for sure. I think we are all tired of being
sick and tired of covid.)

Also:
Enjoy the moon, no matter what its name.
If things get worse, the moon is not to blame.
(You're correct again.)

Silky rhyming, beautiful artwork choice. A pleasure to read. Well done.
Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

I love the moon and see the moon as a beautiful force in our lives. Your poem is relevant to today and shows how the moon is certainly not to blame for human problems. Excellent theme and use of words.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. The moon is amazing when it is full and does seem to affect our physical and mental state. Nurses claim full moon nights in the hospital are wild.

Yes, the blood moons in recent times have become significant in as much as they've fallen on Passover and the feast of trumpets in recent, and become the signs in the heavens that is mentioned in the Bible. Beautifully written sonnet, denoting the moons and their meaning, well done Beth, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy, I really appreciate the review and comments. I wrote about the Wolf moon in January so maybe I'll keep writing about the names of the moons. March is the Worm moon. I've never written a poem about worms. LOL

Hi Beth, no, outer space is not to blame what has happened to all of us on Mother earth during the last couple of years. We are all dead sick and tired of it, but I truly believe Omicron has come to our rescue. I loved your poem. Ulla:)))

Thank you Ulla, I so glad you liked my poem. We are ready for change, or just to go back where we were before this virus started controlling our lives.

Thank you for sharing this poem with us. I did not know each month's moon had a prophecy. Thank you for sharing that fact with us. I enjoyed reading your poem. I think the answers we seek will come from God.

Thank you for the great review and comments. I wrote a poem about the Wolf Moon for January but I didn't look to see what the prophecy was for that. I'm not into astrology and I agree our answers will come from God.

Very cute Mrs. Beth.

I did not know the February moon was called the Snow moon. Can learn something new every day.

Pretty little poem.
Thanks showing it to us.

Thank you Mr. Gee. All the moons have a name. Of course their is only one moon but each month it is said to be new again. For January I wrote a poem about the Wolf moon.

Reset and evaluate, now that sounds like something that we all probably should do more often than we do. But I'm sort of like Jethro on the Beverly Hill Billy show, I get my two-tums all mixed up when I'm cyphering. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Thank Ric. I'm not in to astrology so I'm not convinced the could do that for us but I surely wish we could reset the pandemic and go back to way it was before that changed our life.
