Sometimes, the difficult swings of the cycles of life can be overwhelming. But there are a few like you who choose to stick with the daily grind as best they can. My dad came to the barn every morning, left for the hospital for intervals of chemo and radiation, and then he came back to finish out the work day at the track and the farm. Often stopping to throw up throughout the day; then, he would collapse on the couch by 6:00 in the evening. But he was always back up and out the door by 3:00 the following morning, headed to the race track. LOL. Instilling a special respect for those of you who never succumb, and fight through the discomfort. Thanks for sharing.

One of my team members of pregnant during the time I was doing chemo. We used to tease that we barfed together and would actually take turns watching each other class. LOL Thank you for the understanding.

Another good chapter. Very relaxed, with the only real suspenseful item being The head coach from UT attending the game. But every chapter doesn't have to be a nail-biter. I appreciated the bio info at the end and how it correlated with your own experience of cancer treatment. I can certainly understand your challenges in deciding to work after a chemo session. I did the same, but since I had a one-man insurance office that I couldn't really afford to close down. Your authenticity shines through!

I love the feeling you build through your very straightforward dialogue the way people really speak to one another and interact. Thanks so much for this sweet story. When I was in Los Angeles. Friday Night Lights were important to the 11:00 news... they would rundown every game faithfully... yours, di

Another really well written chapter! I really appreciated the notes you put at the end! Thank you for being personal and real with your readers.

I am looking forward to hearing about the UT coach and you have left me wondering what that twist that will add.

I enjoyed this chapter very much! Thank you for sharing!

I think Katherine wanted to know her diagnosis for sure before telling anyone. I can understand her not wanting to get people upset before she knew for sure. Katherine will have a great support system with her mother and Gabriel's parents. This will really be bad for her as a teacher, if she has to take so many months off. Great description of how Katherine is handling her treatment and the ways others are stepping up to help out. Wonder what's up with the UT coach. It'll be interesting to find out. judi

K is certaily blessed to have Gabe in in her life, along with his parents. What a treasure. Looking forward to each chapter as it comes, as it's always interesting, and relevant to life issues.

It's good that you're writing about Katherine as probably the main character, you probably, or rather, certainly understand what it's like to go through the process. It's a wonderful story, and probably would suit others who may be going through the same. Fabulous post Barbara, blessings Roy

Thank you for the catches. I hate that I leave out those little words, but I seems to do it no matter how many times I read. Thank you, again.

This was a great read again. Very personal and the fact that it is based on quite a bit of "true-to-life" is a good thing. I appreciated the insight into how it was for you, as well. Thanks again. No spags.
