Hi Jesse, this is a lovely poem with so much I can relate to, especially with the knees. The line that struck me most... to find a home among trees that breathe (I'd love to live in a home like that) ... and the following lines. They made me think a lot. Your rhyme and rythym were beautifully smooth, which help fill the mind with the images you are portraying. This was a pleasure to read, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

LIfe on the outside leaves heavy burdens on our shoulders, and we have to dig very deep to find the inspiration to fight back, to dream of better days and to want to live like everything and everyone around us. Your mind is focused on the possibility and the beauty that awaits. I hope it can stand the battle and in the end you will overcome the obstacles and be the winner. Well, you actually are the winner with this awesome poem! Step one accomplished!!!

Thanks, Jenny, for your inspirational and encouraging review! I am sorry that we didn't take off as we had planned but maybe it is better this way. I admire you as well and we live in completely different worlds you and I so I only wish you all the best, my friend. You are the only one so far who mentioned the rhyming in this poem and how you think it helps progress my thoughts through the piece.
