A piece of that cake can turn anyone into a raving fool. Sometimes hunger can make you cranky too.
I like the pseudo limericks for the stanzas. That is a good format for this witty and imaginative poem that uses the given words well. I like your allusion to the horror movie, "Child's Play".
Congrats on placing third in the reviewing contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Joan, thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed this; it was a fun one to write. I have never actually seen "Child's Play" but the pictures I saw advertising it were terrifying enough, as were the Pixar allusions to it in one of the Toy Story films. I tried to reply to your review a while ago and the site are it! Best, Harambe

You are most kindly welcome, Harambe. Horror is not my genre.

Nicely done! I could see Cruella waiting in the wings. Good sense of humor and well-written along with the contest requirements. I wish you good luck in the contest.

Hey Chris thank you very much for the kind review and stars! It did not place so well, lol. Maybe Kamala has a lot of fans here. Oh well!

Very interesting use of the three words in the writing prompt. I love the ending--becoming a breakfast torte! Well-written and horrifying in its implications. Well-done.

Thanks very much Theodore! This was a fun one to write. I suppose to place in this contest next time I should add the words Jesus, God and Hell, as the top winners did, respectively. Oh well, guess I'll just have to write some more reviews for those entry fees : )
