Great post for the contest. Great writing, you weave together an original take-off of Stars Wars, humor, entertainment, and satire. I loved the ending, NOT AGAIN. History has a way of repeating itself. Well done.

Thanks for the great review Theodore! Glad you enjoyed it! Not sure if the series will end here or not, as same-sex couples are now banned, so maybe I'll have to give one of them an operation.

I can see we have a continued sequel in our mist. I can't wait. I enjoyed reading this family saga writing prompt entry. You definitely keep me on my toes as I am sure you do others. Thank you.

Thank you! I am finally catching up on my late responses. I don't have any new episodes planned yet, but then again, none of these were written with any sort of preceding plan, since I never know what the new contest rules will be. LOL. I am pretty sure though (spoiler alert!) that I will be writing a prequel in one of the upcoming contests that I am hosting later this month : )

Thank you very much Melodie! This piece caps the Star Wars series . . . for now! (I think you saw the other three, which are linked in the author notes). I took a break for moving and am finally getting caught up on my late responses. Star Wars has so much material, it's a great storyline to adapt, and a lot of fun.

Written with energy and love of the Starwars brand. I would be a better reader of this if I had that much experience with the franchise. I'm sure there was significance to every activity including Luke cutting off his own hand and jumping off the cliff with Leia, not to mention their last second reprieve. There was cohesiveness to the storyline ... and you did manage to domesticate, if only for a moment, the dark force. For that it was a job well done. Your writing ability was never under doubt!

Thank you Jay. I hope you get a chance to see the originals! In the event you do, I don't want to give the story away. This is the final (for now) installment in my four-part series, written to push the rule of these family writing contests right to the limits. Each time I enter, more rules get added for next time. It keeps me entertained!

I've given up trying to figure out how to win contests here. One needs to study Lee (Humpwhistle) with a microscope to do that.
