What a great plot! I mean, who on earth would keep searching PAST all those yucky and gruesome bones, right? Exactly what the pirate must have been thinking - and it sure worked!

Your poem is well rhymed with a bouncy rhythm that carries the narrative along. It feels more like a story in a poem entry. I bet Flipper and Dipper and Shay were not amused when they heard about the stash buried just a bit deeper.

Dear writer,
I enjoyed your poem. It had a great rhyme scheme until you came to stanza 4. But that didn't stop it from flowing well. The ending made it humorous. Good job. Best wishes in the contest.
