Vacation days are always long waited for. When a person starts planning for their paradise to visit, it takes cooperation from many. To prepare for your hotel and what sights to see, makes it even more exciting.

Excellent entry for the Rhyming Contest writing prompt. The rhymes do not seem forced. Your poem flows well. It draws on emotions and it presents strong images.
I like having dinner and a movie with family.

I love this. Good practical sense, great humour, but underneath it all, honest feels of love for ones family and the time they spend together. I very much agree with the sentiments..... but I'd miss my couple of weeks in the sun! Great writing.

The world never seems to be satisfied with what it has when what we have is all we need. Isn't that a Cheryl Crow lyric? We too have come to that t point where seeing what is near is as endearing as what is afar

You did a good job with your contest entry, Mystery Author. I enjoyed reading it. Your list of possible places to vacation was great. But, there's no place like home, right? Good job with the requirements of the contest. However, I'm not sure of the close/most rhyme--maybe near rhyme. Your picture is perfect.

Its a near rhyme, I didn't realize until after but I don't want to change it...do you think I'll be disqualified? I hope not. Thanks for reading my poem. :)

Near rhymes/slant rhymes are hard to figure. I would leave it as is.

This is a great poem and quite relatable to the world we're living in today. I like the picture you chose to accompany your words and the stanzas flowed nicely. I love the message you convey at the end that you can have just as much fun staying home as long as you're surrounded by the people you care about. Fantastic job on this!
