It sounds so simple and (in all honest) uneventful, but I think very many of us had very many days just like this. Damn covid. I'd even say many are still going through this kind of routine. Well expressed. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, this story rings true for many. I enjoyed reading this share of - A Typical Day - in the land of Zanya. Covid certainly has curtailed the way we live and how we spend our time. Don't you hate it though when you forget the dreaded face mask. An annoyance but necessary, none the less. Thank you for sharing this insightful read. Best of luck in the competition.

Great reveiw zanya

Your typical day doesn't sound to bad, although a little lonely if you are used to people around the watercooler. Could you mean "on" in the sentence ending ". . . packet being dropped loudly in the porch"?

Hello Zanya a happy Thursday to you. I hope this finds you well. I like your Typical Day writing prompt entry. Unfortunately we are entering year 3 and there is still no end in site. will this be our new normal? Anyway, good job and good luck in the contest.

I am sure that so many people can relate to this! Many of my days have been like this, though some are spent working with dogs instead of on the computer and Zoom. Good job!

Great reveiw - hopefully we are approaching endgame with the pandemic - but who knows ? zanya

This one-hundred-words-or-less story, My Covid Day, is a great capture of the days many spent during that most desperate time during the pandemic. Good to be prepared to be alone though.

I believe you described the days of many people under the current situation. For that alone, you get my vote. But more than that, you made the description without 'whining'. It is what it is and we will survive and we will be better for it! Good luck in the contest. ann

This is a fine entry for the Typical Day (short short) contest. All our days blur because of Covid. We are lonely and isolated, and yet indeed we all repeatedly forget the obligatory mask. Still, after two years. Wishful thinking, or selective amnesia?
