Your picture and your words brought back memories of when our children were little and we would go for a lot of drives. My husband just loved going down every side road we came to. The children thought we were lost but he knew where we were. I am so glad that on this road of life, we have a clear map, the Bible, to follow and Jesus to guide us every step of the way.

Congratulations on a gorgeous piece of writing. Not only does it reflect back to a time where technology didn't play such a large part in our lives, but it also gently reminds us about the power that keeps us on the right path. Bravo and good luck.

Hello again! I often tease my husband about my significant lack in "sense of direction" -- I've also joked the only GPS I really need is the route to heaven. How sweet, then, to read this! Those maps were clumsy and large and impossible to refold! Love GPS on my cell. My best "map" is my Bible! --Karenina

I bet we are contemporaries. I have four grandchildren, the oldest will be 18 in April! My "children" are 40 and 41! Smile....

This was a fun read. Made me nostalgic for an old school map, but also relieved that I never have to look at an old school map ever again.

Some clever rhymes in this poem. Well done.
